Here is a list of special kid-friendly events happening in the San Francisco Bay Area in July! These events are not weekly or monthly recurring events, but are unique and special events happening only this year, or yearly.
This list is updated at least weekly in the month of July, and when the month is over, will start updating again the following year! Check back often to see what’s happening in San Francisco Bay Area that you can bring your kids to!
If you are on Facebook and want to get weekly updates of these events within a Facebook group, join our San Francisco Family Travel + Activities group! Every Monday, there is a thread that lists these kinds of events with specific links, where members can add events too!
Are you more of a Google Calendar kind of person? We have one of those too! Add this calendar to your Google Calendar to get these events straight in your calendar.

July = full forth chilly San Francisco “summer”! Bring your jackets, but get ready to take it off if you venture outside of San Francisco. A 15 minute drive can be a 10 degree (F) difference! Also, even a Bay Area native (pretty much), I didn’t realize there are over 100 celebrations all over the Bay Area for the 4th of July! Make sure to check out our post listing all of them (with a map), so you can pick the best one for your family!
