We went to Iceland for 8 days during our parental leave for Andrew. We found super cheap direct flight tickets on WOW Air to Reykjavik that we couldn’t refuse. So glad we went. It was the furthest North we’ve ever traveled, and we were a little worried about the weather and driving in it, but it couldn’t have been easier. We saw so many cool Icelandic horses and other animals at the zoo. We saw waterfalls, geysers, craters, and went to the Blue Lagoon! We stayed in Reykjavik the entire time because we didn’t know what travel with 2 kids will be like, and we were happy we did that. It was a perfect winter wonderland to bond as a new family of 4.
